🎃Samhain marks the time of the year where the veil between the world of matter and and the unseen world of spirit is very thin. It’s also a highly potent time to honour our ancestors, a time to retreat, to dream and vision and a powerful time for inner journeys.
🎃Especially during the current time we can remind ourselves once again that any external structure including relationship dynamics are subject to change but if you are EMPOWERED by the LIGHT of your SOUL you will know that you have nothing to worry about during transitions and times of transformation.
🎃Samhain, pronounced “sow-in” (“ow” like in cow), is a Gaelic festival that marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter or the “darker half” of the year. It is traditionally recognized on November 1 and considered the Celtic New Year.
🎃We witness the death and rebirth cycle all the time in nature and also within our own consciousness. We are not the same person we were last year or even last month.
🎃Samhain offers us the opportunity to celebrate consciously the cycle of death and rebirth. In the northern hemisphere, the leaves are dying and nature is preparing for the still of winter. Just the same, in the southern hemisphere, the dormant buds are preparing to rebirth themselves and open to the start of summer.
🎃Halloween has its roots from the pagan festival of Samhain and it is believed that the veil between the world of the living and the world of the departed souls is to be the thinnest.
